Wny Fly Fishing Report 7/18/09

I met Paul and Jeff on the upper catt, to do some poking around. The water above elton was flowing cool and clear, the section after elton had a slight stain and color to it. We fished for about 6 hours getting most of the fish on hare's ears and spring creek specials (aka olive bugger).

The creeks are coming down and we should be back in business right away. Golden stones, cahills, and with the cooler weather BWO's, caddis are still around in good numbers.
