Wny Fly Fishing Report 7/27/09

Trico's have started and golden stones are going strong with bwo's also in the mix. Its time to start using ants, beetles and hoppers (dont forget to put a dropper behind the hopper).

There is no updating needed as the weather continues to plague us with lots of rain, which is good for our cold water friends, but lousy for us fisherman.

Wny Fly Fishing Report 7/18/09

I met Paul and Jeff on the upper catt, to do some poking around. The water above elton was flowing cool and clear, the section after elton had a slight stain and color to it. We fished for about 6 hours getting most of the fish on hare's ears and spring creek specials (aka olive bugger).
