WNY Fly Fishing Trout Camps

Trout Camps are in the spring for inland trout. The classes are six hours and cover casting, fly selection, and reading the water. We provide lunch, guides, flies/leaders/tippet, rods and reels if needed, you must bring waders and wading boots, sunglasses. This is the best way to start out fly fishing and learn from some of the best instructors in WNY.

Cost is $250.00 per person $350.00 per two

WNY Fly Fishing Report 12/15/10

Most of the smaller streams are starting to freeze over and have lots of slush on them until later in the day. Pick your spots and go low and slow, and wait until later to go out.

WNY Fly Fishing Report 12/9/10

The weather is going to play a big factor in where you want to go, the Erie Tribs are slush filled in the am so try fishing a little later after the sun warms up the water. The L.O. streams are on the high side, but you should fare a little better without all of the snow to wade through to get to the water, dress warm and stay dry.

WNY Fly Fishing Report 12/04/10

Most of the smaller Erie tribs should be ready to go, and the Catt is out most likely for the rest of the season until spring. I have no reports for the L.O. tribs, but they should have good water and fish in, but i cant report on the clarity right now.

WNY Fly Fishing Report 12/01/10

The rain and snow have made a mess of all the systems, high water and dirty conditions is what we are in store for awhile. My suggestion is to stay inside, tie and refill up your fly boxes for the fishing ahead.
