WNY Fly Fishing on Fly Boxes

The fly fisherman is a equipment junkie, we cannot have enough stuff. I found this nice fly box that ice fishermen use by Ice Armour, it has slotted foam and is double sided with see through lids and is waterproof, all of this for under $15.00 a far cry from the fly box prices we are used shelling out.

WNY Fly Fishing Report 01/1/11

Happy New Year to all my friends and family. I started out the new year with a bang, luke, Andy and myself went out to Oak Orchard creek today to do some winter fishing. The river was in GREAT SHAPE!!!!! perfect flows and good numbers of fish, we got steelhead and browns. I was using White Lighting and Hairballs, the fish were hitting very well as the older gentleman across from us caught at least 7 on egg patterns, then the rain came and shut it down, all in all a very good day to start the new year.
