I don't have to tell you anything you don't already know, the creeks are high and dirty. I think the smaller ones should be ready by the weekend.

WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report 2/23/2013

Jeff and I went out today on the Erie tribs and found lots of shelf ice and very cold temps. I did manage one steelhead on the first drift using a peach Hairball. We did run into another fisherman named Scott, what a nice guy we talked for about a hour about fishing spots and stuff and come to find out he knows Evil Phil and the crew at Dan's shop what a small world.

WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report 2/21/2013

After going over most of the erie tribs today , I saw low/clear water in almost everyone of them. This will change in the next day or two when we get some warmer temps and run off from the melt. The weekend should be a good one to get out and enjoy the fishing.

The streams today have done a 180 with all of them except the catt, are in prime shape when I drove over them today. The snow melt in the hills has not made to much of an impact so get out and cross some eyes!!!!.
