WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report 6/23/2013

We went out to the Genny in the am to find some fishing after the rains we have had. the fishing was very slow and bugs next to nothing, we got fish on buggers, caddis, and wets. The heat looks like it is here now so remember to fish early in the morning and save the afternoon for the frosty drinks.

WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report 6/10/2013

I went to spring creek today as almost everything else is shot, The olives were out in full swing and the fish ready to pounce on them. It was one of the best days I have ever had on spring creek, I landed over two dozen fish and lost a couple of giants.

WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report 6/8/2013

The water conditions have not been in our favor the last couple of weekends, so Paul and I went in search of small water and clear water. We found it at lime lake outlet, the water was up a bit but clear and ready to fish. The fishing was very good and all of my fish were taken on the spring creek special, with Paul taking his fish on wets, dries and the special. Most of the streams we drove over today were shot!!!!! with no hope in sight at least for a day or three.
