WNT Fly Fishing Stream Report 7/24/2014
The posts have been nonexistent as of late do to the weather, but it looks good for the weekend at least one of the days. The tricos have started and lets remember to fish early in the am and not to stress out the fish too much.

WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report 7/5/2014
Tom and I went to the Oatka this morning hoping to get more top water action as we did the week before, the water was still off colored but lower. The dry fly fishing was lousy with only a handful of rises and a few bugs coming off, but nymphing saved the day. we caught all of the fish on small stoneflies, I used a small mercers golden stone while tom used a small black stone. Then old rubber lips started in on the action and look at the monster tom landed on my 3wt Sage. We also found poison hemlock along the banks so be careful.
