WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report 10/24/2015

Jeff and I went to the Catt today, the weather was good in the morning and got worse as the day went on. The water was clear and the fish spread out in pods, the cabbage patch had an army of people at it and them same in gowanda. We fished in between those two spots and did a lot of walking to find a few fish. Jeff got his on my White Lighting streamer swung and I hooked and lost a nice one on my Hairball egg pattern in pink lady.

WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report 10/14/2015

The catt yesterday in gowanda was green and had very heavy traffic on all of the spots, I passed. The sections below where they are taking gravel out is coffee with one cream and the smaller erie tribs were low and clear. Today the catt is rising due to the rain yesterday and dirty, there is little to no change on the smaller ones I drove over.

I went to the Catt this morning to try beating the rain, the creek was stained with a nice flow to it. The fishing was very slow with only one small jack to hand and nothing else, I didn't see anyone else catching fish at all.
