The summer is winding down and the fishing is still HOT!!!!!. Tom and I
went out to find new water for trout and bass, the new spot was very
good and I cant wait to fish it during the major hatches. The trout were
taken on tricos, and the bass were taken on turds, buggers, and my

WNY Fly Fishing Product Review - Fishpond - Nomad Mid-Length Boat Net
I bought this net early this year for lake run steelhead and browns and summer bass. The nets are just about unbreakable, impervious to sun or water, are both strong and light and float like a cork if dropped in the river. Along with the attractive woven carbon fiber frame, all of Nomad’s new nets use a deep, clear rubber bag that is easy on the fish, doesn’t freeze up during winter fly fishing sessions and prevents hooks from getting snagged and tangled. I was very impressed with the feel/balance of the net and how light it is when you have to hike around with it.

WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report 8/21/2013
Tom and I went out Friday to chase the trout and bass for the morning,
the weather was perfect!!!! cooler air/water temps, with falling water
conditions made it a day of days for the later part of august. We caught
fish on just about everything we tied on, buggers, white lighting,
crayfish and Trico's. The fish were solid 14" - 16" range with a couple a
tad bigger, a great day to be out on the water with my friends catching
fish, taking pics, busting chops, and enjoying this special treat for
the summer.

WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report 8/16/2015
Tom and I went out for some trico action today and what a day it was!!!! We had plenty of fish rising all over us, I landed a beauty of a brown trout, that was a handful on my Sage ESN 3WT. The rig is pretty straight forward, 9' 7X leader with about 18" of 7X for a tippet and a size 22 Trico. We also hammered the small mouth bass on my crayfish pattern.
