WNY ly Fishing Stream Report 7/30/2016

We went out to chase the green bass today on some new water for us, the weather could not have been any better, overcast with a little rain on the water. The fishing was slow, but when going to new water it almost always is, we got some bass and saw tons of carp. I tried for about two hours to fool one of them and finally did, only to lose him as he ran me under a downed tree, oh well that's fishing.

WNY Fly Fishing - Fly Fishing Workshop - Belmont N.Y.

I was asked to do a  fly fishing workshop for residents  in Belmont at Genesee Valley School  this weekend, The weather was outstanding and all of the students had a great time learning about fly fishing. I had a wonderful time teaching everyone on how to cast, explaining equipment and answering questions about this great sport. I can't thank Colleen C. for asking me to be part of it and I 'am looking forward to working with her on making this even bigger for next year. We had people from Rochester, Buffalo and the surrounding areas, once agian, thanks to everyone that came and to Colleen for asking me to be part of it.

WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report 7/10/2016

I am sorry for not posting lately, but the fishing has been slower than normal, and I bought a place in the southern tier and have been taking time from fishing to get it ready for later this year or next year in the spring
