WNY Fly Fishing Report 12/16/09

The weather couldn't possibly get any colder could it? The smaller Erie tribs will be very tough to fish, with slush and possibly shelf ice forming. The LO tribs you will fare better with the warmer water coming thru the turbines, but it is still freaking cold. Remember to layer and get out your boot foot waders and ice off paste.

Wny Fly Fishing Report 12/13/09

The snowing has stopped and the smaller creeks are full of slush, coupled with the rain we are getting today should mean a real mess.

Wny Fly Fishing Report 12/06/09

The cold weather has slowed things down a little, but the silver lining was that we didn't get the precep the weather man was calling for, so most of the creeks should be in good shape except for the big one. The catt should be done for the year, if this weather keeps up.

Wny Fly Fishing Report 12/02/09

The rains have come and just about shut fishing down for awhile in all of the streams. It will turn colder and snow is in the forecast for the weekend so hopefully this will clear up the creeks so it's game on again.
