WNY Fly Fishing Trout Camps

Trout Camps are in the spring for inland trout. The classes are six hours and cover casting, fly selection, and reading the water. We provide lunch, guides, flies/leaders/tippet, rods and reels if needed, you must bring waders and wading boots, sunglasses. This is the best way to start out fly fishing and learn from some of the best instructors in WNY.

WNY Fly Fishing - Stone Flies

I have been at the bench for some time now (nothing else to do) filling up boxes and customers orders, so I just whipped up these little guys up for the spring, if it ever gets here.

Switching Gears - WNY Fly Fishing

It’s time to put away for a little while the big stuff and bring forth the surgical weapons of summer. Walking to the stream and seeing hungry trout feeding in your favorite spot, planning a route to get into position to make the cast, timing the rise. Watching your fly as it gently drops down and slides ever so slowly towards the fish. Waiting and daring not to move it a millimeter, in fear of spooking the fish. Then striking when the fish sucks in your offering and all hell breaks loose.
