WNY Fly Fishing Photo's

I went out today to stretch my legs and get out of the house. I was torn between chasing steelhead and inland, I let my gut decide and I went inland. Driving down to the upper catt. i found tons of open water and lots of stoneflies crawling out everywhere. The fishing was good with most of the fish taken on you guess it stoneflies, (sorry no pics batteries died) i did manage pics of the little buggers.

WNY Fly Fishing Photo's

I took a long walk in the woods sunday to check out my tree stands and to get out of the house. The snow was about shin deep and very powdery, so it was easy walking and that was a good thing as i had to walk about 1/2 mile back to the stands. I saw more deer than i did in all of hunting season figures. Trimming trees, brush and nasty rose bushes i got a head start on next year. Walking out i found this fungus growing on the side of this tree and thought it would make a cool shot.
