  1. Fished the genny as well today! Spent 8 hours there today! Did very good in the morning. Caught a nice caddis hatch coming off when I got there around 7am after that it got slow! Went to some ants and bettles and got fish here and there! I fished the Special reg zone in Shongo for the first time but didnt get anything although its tough to catch fish when a very large women strips to her underwear and does a cannon ball off the bridge 20 yds from where I was fishing!

The fishing in the Shongo area has been really tough this year, the bait guys are fishing the no-kill section and raping it. I have had to work several spots to get fish, where have you been going?

  3. I noticed at one bridge a "y" stick and figured some bait chucker was there. I fished Kmart first then hit the ball park, Jack Bridge then on down to shongo. Like I said it was the first time ever there so I wasnt sure where to go. I started at The graveside road I think it was called? Thats where the lady was practicing for the olympics jumping off the bridge!I then went on down to the last area that says "leaving special reg zone". Thats where I noticed the "y" stick in the ground. I fished that pretty hard and only had 1 take and I missed that fish. I walked maybe 200 yrds down stream but i wasnt very comfortable going any farther being by myself and not knowing the area. Im going back up Wednesday-Thursday if you have any tips for fishing that area Id love to hear them!
