WNY Fly Fishing Trout Camps

Trout Camps are in the spring for inland trout. The classes are six hours and cover casting, fly selection, and reading the water. We provide lunch, guides, flies/leaders/tippet, rods and reels if needed, you must bring waders and wading boots, sunglasses. This is the best way to start out fly fishing and learn from some of the best instructors in WNY.

Cost is $250.00 per person $350.00 per two

WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report 7/28/2012

 The rains fell finally and brought some much needed relief to our cold water friends, so Jeff, Paul and myself went out to have some small water fun. The water was up and slightly stained, but fishable so off we went. What we found was quite surprising!!! we were catching some very large fish for this stream, the fish were 12" plus and alot of them for this time of year with a few dinks thrown in the mix. Paul started us off with a beautiful brown that I caught mostly on film, of course trying to hold the fish and take the hook is another matter. I caught a very nice rainbow and a couple of fiesty browns all on a olive buggers.

    as always nice fish! I posted a youtube link above of a little video I made the other day..I had the not so bright idea of pulling out my iphone4 and trying to capture a video of catching a fish on a fly I tied and by some small miracle i did! i live in elmira and after a long period of no rain we acually had a tornado come through on thursday. After being in the dark for 3 days and being absolutley stir crazy i grabbed my rod and boots and hit the creek. Had a great day and when I got back home the power was back on! So it turned out to be a very good day!
