WNY Fly Fishing - Rod Review - Sage ACCEL 390-4

Sage ACCEL Fly Rod - 390-4 (3wt. 9'0" 4pc.)

Sage ACCEL 390-4 fly rods are fantastic for small stream and creek trout fly fishing.  Great fly rod size for light nymphing and tossign dry flies for trout when the hatch is on.
Sage has got you covered for trout to permit, panfish to pike and bass with the Generation 5 powered ACCEL series of fly fishing rods.  Sage utilizes design and material ideas from past and present to create the all-water family of ACCEL fly rods that are more responsive, lighter and more sensitive.  Sage's Generation 5 technology minimizes the use of glass scrim while adding a graphite hoop core and axial fibers to build a fly rod that is livelier and narrower.  What does this mean for you?  Casting control is greatly increased for supreme accuracy and power - put flies where they need to be and create tighter loops to fight wind.
Sage ACCEL fly rods are exceptionally versatile, smooth casting medium-fast action fly rods.  The versatility from the Sage ACCEL series of fly rods comes from their combination of presentation and power.  Focus and drop ultra-accurate casts and power up to fight wind when you need to.  Like all Sage fly rods, ACCEL rods are made in the USA at Bainbridge Island, WA and feature their unconditional lifetime warranty.
Sage ACCEL Fly Rod Features and Highlights:
•Generation 5 technology
•Emerald blank color
•Medium-fast action
•Olive Green thread wraps with Garnet and Black trim wraps
•Fuji ceramic stripper guides
•Hard chromed snake guides and tip top
•Black rod bag with Emerald colored logo and model tag
•Leaf Green ballistic nylon rod tube with divided liner.
Sage ACCEL 3-6wt Fly Rods:
•Rosewood reel seat insert with Stealth Black anodized aluminum up-locking reel seat
•Snub-nose, half-wells cork handle

The Sage ACCEL is a dream to cast and fish with, I paired it with a RIO Gold WF3 and this combo has done everything I have asked of it and more.
