WNY Fly Fishing Trout Camps

Trout Camps are in the spring for inland trout. The classes are six hours and cover casting, fly selection, and reading the water. We provide lunch, guides, flies/leaders/tippet, rods and reels if needed, you must bring waders and wading boots, sunglasses. This is the best way to start out fly fishing and learn from some of the best instructors in WNY.

Cost is $250.00 per person $350.00 per two

WNY Fly Fishing Report 06/28/10






I finally got Luke to come down to my favorite part of the world to sample some fishing, and the old girl didn't lets us down. The day started off foggy, but as it warmed up the fishing got better and better, we had small BWO's and black caddis coming off. The brown trout were on the caddis big time!!! we put a dropper behind it and slowly moved upwards as it was emerging and they crushed it.

    Im on vacation next week and plan on spending alot of time on the genny. WHat should i plan on for flies? any help would be great!

    The water is very low and very warm!!!!! i would only fish in the early morning and drink the rest of the day. Try small nymphs and griffths gnats for dries.
