The fishing is getting better and better, the fish are starting to look up and the weather should start to get warmer, what we need is rain!!!!!. All of the fish I caught were on P.T. nymphs size 16 as a dropper behind a small stone.

I took tom out today to chase rainbows and we hit the pot of GOLD!!!!! Tom caught his first 20" inland trout today. The fishing was pretty good for this time of year, with the fish taking small P.T.'s and buggers swung low and slow.

WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report - Hendrickson

The warmer temps are starting to bring the bugs out, we have seen some surface feeding, but not enough to get all crazy about. The hendricksons will be the first major hatch, so look in the afternoons for this one, it is usually a fast hatch not lasting for very long.

WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report 4/10/2016

I Took Jeff out today to try and get in the last of the lake run fish before it's full blown inland trout time. The weather was cold and not a lot of fish willing to play, but we did manage a wide variety of fish from carp, small mouth bass, steelhead, and suckers.

WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report 4/9/2016

I dont have alot to report as mother nature is not playing nice with us right now, we have some steelhead in the tribs and inland is in a cold spell now so pick and choose your battles, the way I would fish in this weather is low and slow.
