WNYFly fishing Stream Report 2/21/2012

I went out monday and have more fun like we did on sat, the water was a little clearer and a little lower. The fishing was very slow for such a nice day, but who cares I was out and fishing. I want to share a technique that I have been using the last few times out; I have been dead drifting very large streamers ( 1/0, 2/0, deceivers) and found the fish will just crush them. Luke has always said go big or go home so I took his advice and threw the big stuff and have been very pleased with the results.

WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report 2/19/2012

We hit The L.O. tribs to get some good video footage. The day started out beautiful and the weather got worse as the day went on, the fishing was very good with a mixture of steelhead and browns. All of the fish we caught were on streamers with the biggest fish my steelhead caught on my olive Mirrored Minnow.
