WNY Fly Fishing - Older Thought's
As we get older I find it's more about being with your buddies than whipping up on the fish, no longer a numbers game, but time spent with the people who you really enjoy he great outdoors with. Don't get me wrong crushing the guys you fish with is still inside of all of us, but it is lessened with time and just watching the guys catching fish is always enjoyable. The ribbing will always be here, jokes that we have heard a thousand times and still laugh at, making fun of the way the guys suit up, take so long to tie on a fly (now with bifocals) etc is just as funny as it was twenty years ago. Talking about the times we lost lost the biggest fish of the year/day and how much it was so much bigger then anyone else's. Then at the end of the trip going back to the camp having a few drinks, cooking dinner recapping the days gone by, I wouldn't have it any other way.

WNY Fly Fishing Stream Report 9/4/2017
Paul went out to fish for a couple hours today, and here is the report. The Oatka was if fine shape with tones of tricos coming off, but no takers instead he fish a bugger and got one very nice fish. The day he said was ruined by the onslaught of kayak's coming down in the park section, he told me other fishermen had said the same thing about the unwanted traffic on the water. Thanks Paul for sending the pic
